The Student Grand Concert is an event which creates more opportunites for our students to showcase their talents, thus enhancing their musical learning experience and increasing their involvment in music. Apart from typical solo performances, group performances are highly encouraged. Chamber ensembles and a differing mix of interesting instruments put together produce unique blends of music, creating an impressive repertoire of heartwarming pieces.

This year, our Grand Concert was once again held in the Civic Centre Library Auditorium on 18th March 2006. Parents and avid music enthusiasts flocked to the event in anticipation of a night full of glitz and glamour as performers put up their best show. The event was brought to life by delightful music and the variety of performing styles presented, ranging from solo, duet to ensemble performances. The 18-member strong violin ensemble group stole the limelight yet again with their sweet pieces and mischievous beaming faces. A special electric guitar performance was an attention grabber as the pieces were played in the coolest manner. The majestic organ performance - 'Anywhere Is' rounded up the event, definitely a bombastic finale to this musical night.
