This course uses a holistic approach that combines and coordinates the hands, mind, body and emotions, with technical studies for optimal musical enjoyment. Students also get to understand how chords are formed. Instead of memorizing and regurgitating chords and notes, students learn how to derive them regardless of what key they are playing in. The chords in all song materials are comprehensive and easy to follow, with some popular and familiar favorites mixed with tasteful originals. The course is structured into three levels for progressive study.
