This Guitar Course is targeted at students in their pre-teens to mid-teens. After a brief introduction to posture, types of guitar strokes, and basic music notation, student move on to learning chords and picking notes. By the end of this course, students should be able to strum common chords and play a variety of songs across a range of musical styles. Besides introducing students to the guitar, this course also prepares students for more advanced training in classical guitar.
